Siggi Bougainvillea

The Siggi Bougainvillea is a dwarf variety of Bougainvillea that grows compactly with few thorns, yet produces impressive flowers. Through summer it bears impressive orange-yellow flowers which blend nicely with the fresh-green foliage. This evergreen typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide without a support structure but much larger when it has something to climb. Without support it will grow more like a groundcover. It grows best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in either full sun or partial shade. It will tolerate light frost once established and may become deciduous in cooler climates. The Siggi Bougainvillea is commonly used as a small climber, added to mixed plantings, used as a groundcover, or planted anywhere the beauty of this plant can be enjoyed.
