“Hawaiian Orange” is a variety of Bougainvillea that grows as vigorous climber with impressive flowers. Through summer it bears masses of bright orange flowers. The flowers are complemented with lush, green foliage. This evergreen typically grows to 4 m tall and the same wide with a support structure, though can be trimmed as necessary. Without support it will grow more like a groundcover. It grows best when planted on a well-drained, sheltered site in either full sun or partial shade. It will tolerate light frost once established and may become deciduous in such environments. “Hawaiian Orange” is commonly used as a climber on a fence or pergola, used as a groundcover, or planted anywhere the beauty of this plant can be enjoyed.
