How to grow Mandarin ‘Miyagawa’ in NZ

Plant in full sun in free-draining, fertile soil enriched with compost. Choose a sheltered position away from frost pockets and strong winds. Water consistently during flowering and fruiting, and apply mulch to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds. In colder areas, grow in a large pot and move to a sunny, frost-free location over winter.
