This double grafted lemon affords a longer fruiting season and fruit of two popular varieties (Meyer and Yen Ben) on the one plant. It not only saves space but can provide great interest as having two different looking fruit on the one tree will surely draw attention. It typically grows to 2.5 m tall and 2 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Best performance with this tree is achieved when it is grown in full sun on a well-drained, sheltered site, protected from heavy frost, though it will generally tolerate moderate frost once established. This double grafted lemon is commonly included in a mixed planting, maintained either in a container or in a courtyard garden, or grown as a specimen.
