“Bronze Delight” is a NZ native, ornamental grass grown for its colourful and attractive foliage. It produces slender, bronze coloured foliage as it grows to 60 cm tall and the same wide. It is a hardy plant that does prefer a full sun position with reasonable moisture levels but will tolerate dry periods, wind, coastal conditions, frost, and almost any soil type. It requires very little maintenance apart from pulling out spent leaves to encourage new growth and prevent ‘matting. This grass is often planted around the base of larger trees, included in border plantings, mass planted either as a groundcover or on a bank, or included in coastal gardens. It also looks great in planters, particularly when the foliage can cascade to the ground.
