‘Adorable’ is a variety of Camellia grown for its semi-double, bright pink flowers from late winter through spring. It bears semi-glossy, mid-green leaves which complement the flowers nicely. This evergreen shrub grows relatively compactly with an upright habit to about 2 m tall and 1.5 m wide. It performs best when grown in full sun on a well-drained soil that is slightly acidic, and is tolerant of frost once established as well as cool, and humid climates. Camellia ‘Adorable’ is commonly grown as specimen, clipped into a hedge, added to a mixed planting, or used as a backdrop for smaller plants.
