Echeveria Violet Queen Details

“Violet Queen” is an outstanding succulent that grows as a short and stout rosette of succulent leaves. The leaves are blue-grey with a fine, pink margin. The leaves turn a pink-purple colour in winter. A stem carrying red flowers will occasionally rise well above the foliage in summer. This succulent typically grows to 30 cm tall and the same wide, and performs best when grown in full sun position on a well-drained site. It is tolerant of moderate frost, cool climates, coastal conditions, and dry periods. “Violet Queen” makes for a great pot plant and is often used in rock gardens, or grown where something hardy and a little unusual is wanted. It also makes for a fantastic addition to outdoor living areas.
