Aloe chabaudii, commonly known as Chabauds Aloe or the Dwala Aloe, is a succulent grown for its interesting foliage and flowers. It grows as an open rosette with fleshy, green-grey leaves that are often flushed with red or pink. Tall stems rise above the foliage in winter to bear clusters of red flowers as it grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. Aloe chabaudii is commonly grown as a specimen, used in coastal and Mediterranean themed gardens, added to mixed plantings, maintained in a container, or planted in the drier areas of a garden.
