It carries glossy, mid-green, heart shaped leaves which develop yellow tones in autumn before falling. Flowers produced in spring result in small, white, edible fruits in summer as it grows to 6 m tall and 4 m wide. Morus Alba is commonly grown as a shade tree, added to a mixed planting, or simply grown for fruit production.
