Blackberry Karaka Black is grown for its heavy crops of large-sized fruit. The black fruit in summer are juicy and result from white flowers produced in spring on two-year old stems. It grows as a climber with the stems hosting mid-green foliage to about 1.8 m tall and 1.5 m wide on a support structure. Blackberry Karaka Black is commonly grown for fruit production, trained along a fence or other support structure, or planted to attract birds.
