Our tree guards and plant shelters are bio-degradable products that are perfect for using in riparian areas and other exposed positions. They are manufactured in NZ using recycled pulp and are designed to cope with tough and damp conditions. The guard does not need to be removed once the plant has established as it will naturally break down. Each tree guard is 350 mm tall and 200 mm wide and come with a 75 cm bamboo stake. One stake is threaded through the holes and the other put at the apex of the triangle for wind stabilisation. The offer reasonable protection from rabbits.

The Plant Company’s Tree (and Shrub) Fertiliser has been specifically blended to give 12-months of continuous nutrition and give the plants an initial boost with all right nutrients. This tree fertiliser blend is suitable for all types of Trees and Shrubs that are planted outdoors and should not be used for plants grown in a container. Use The Plant Company Indoor Plant Fertiliser for container grown plants. One kg of fertiliser will adequately fertilise 12 plants for one year.
