Exceptional Beauty and Performance

The sexy rexy rose bush is celebrated for its continuous display of medium-sized blooms across the season, from late spring right through autumn. Each flower boasts soft, shell-pink petals with a delicate scent that attracts pollinators and adds a romantic touch to outdoor spaces. With its compact, bushy growth habit, the sexy rexy fits beautifully into smaller gardens, courtyards, or even containers on patios.

If you’re interested in adding this floribunda to your collection, we recommend browsing our Rose Sexy Rexy page for the latest healthy shrub roses available. If you prefer the classic standard tree form, the Rose Sexy Rexy Standard offers a stunning option for framing pathways or adding height to planting schemes.

Care and Planting Tips

One reason the sexy rexy rose bush is so popular is its low maintenance needs. Plant your rose in a spot with at least six hours of sun and well-drained soil enriched with compost or well-rotted manure. Prune annually in late winter to early spring, removing dead wood and shaping the plant to keep it vigorous and floriferous. Regular watering and mulching will ensure your sexy rexy rose bush remains healthy and productive all season long.

Pairing Your Sexy Rexy Rose Bush

The sexy rexy rose bush pairs beautifully with a range of companion plants. For a striking contrast, consider planting it alongside evergreen shrubs like Cistus 'Brilliancy' (Rock Rose), which offer textural interest and complementary colour. For a bolder look, mix your sexy rexy with the vibrant tones of Rose Diamonds Forever or the deep foliage of Weigela Wine And Roses (Wine & Roses Weigela). Creating a rose border or mixed bed with these varieties ensures months of colour and interest in your garden.

Why Choose the Sexy Rexy Rose Bush?

A proven garden favourite, the sexy rexy rose bush adds lasting value to any landscape. Gardeners across New Zealand love it for its robust health, beautiful form, and adaptability to a wide range of planting schemes. Whether you’re designing a romantic rose garden, a modern border, or simply want a reliable plant that delivers season after season, sexy rexy makes a wonderful choice.
