Growing Tips for Pseudowintera colorata nz

Pseudowintera colorata enjoys humus-rich, moist soil with reliable drainage. While it tolerates moderate frosts and wind, it appreciates shelter from hot, drying winds. Plant in dappled sunlight for the best foliage colour; however, it can adapt to full sun or deep shade (colours are most vibrant with some protection from strong midday sun). Mulch annually to retain moisture and prune lightly to maintain shape and encourage lush growth.
