Dichroa Blue Stars is a popular choice for NZ gardens, known for its commonly known as evergreen hydrangea, is renowned for both its flowers and foliage. It becomes covered in showy clusters of blue flowers through spring and summer. It has attractive, dark green foliage and typically grows to 1.5 m tall and the same wide. Dichroa Blue Stars is commonly included in a mixed planting, grown as an informal hedge, planted around pool and other outdoor living areas, grown around the base of larger trees, or planted as a lovely backdrop for smaller plants.
