Why Choose Mutabilis Rose for Your Garden?

Mutabilis rose stands out for its uniquely vibrant petals and outstanding garden performance. These easy-care shrubs thrive in most New Zealand climates, offering repeat flushes of colour right through summer and autumn. If you love attracting pollinators or want a hedge that brings lively movement to your garden, Mutabilis is an ideal pick, thanks to its open, butterfly-like blooms and lush, spreading habit. This rose is also well-suited to modern and traditional gardens alike.

Varieties Available: Bush and Standard

When searching for Mutabilis rose for sale, it’s important to consider which form best fits your space and style. We offer beautiful bush forms for classic border planting, as well as dramatic standards for elevated focal points. Explore our available options by visiting Rose Mutabilis for the traditional shrub, or choose Rose Mutabilis Standard if you prefer the structured elegance of a standard.

Care Tips for Mutabilis Roses

Mutabilis roses are famously low-maintenance, but a little care will reward you with exceptional displays year after year. Plant them in a sunny spot with well-drained soil and ensure regular watering during dry spells. To keep your rose healthy and blooming, apply a balanced rose fertiliser in early spring and midsummer. Protecting against fungal diseases is also simple: use a product like Super Shield Rose Spray – 1 Litre as part of your routine maintenance to keep leaves clean and vibrant.

Inspired Plant Pairings

To create an eye-catching garden, plant Mutabilis rose alongside colourful, low-growing companions. The cheerful yellow tones of Portulaca Pazzaz Yellow (Yellow Portulaca) or the sunset hues of Portulaca Pazzaz Sunset (Moss Rose Plant) make fantastic summer partners, each adding easy-care charm beneath your flowering roses.
