Why Choose a Large Ficus benjamina?

Opting for a large Ficus benjamina is ideal for those wanting instant impact and lasting beauty. This plant grows well indoors in bright, indirect light, but can also thrive outdoors in sheltered spots throughout mild climates. With careful pruning, you can tailor its size and shape to fit your space. As a mature specimen, it not only looks impressive but also helps filter indoor air, removing common pollutants. The upright growth and dense foliage make it a natural privacy screen, while its adaptability means you can enjoy it as a tree or bushy shrub depending on your needs.

Ficus benjamina Care and Growing Tips

A large Ficus benjamina enjoys bright, filtered sunlight and prefers to stay away from direct afternoon rays. Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between drinks, and avoid soggy conditions. If placed indoors, rotate the plant occasionally to promote even growth, and mist the foliage to maintain humidity. Ficus benjamina does best in well-drained potting mix and benefits from an occasional feed during the warmer months. Repotting every few years encourages healthy roots and continued growth, ensuring your plant thrives over time.
