Gardeners love the King Protea for its low-maintenance nature and exotic appearance. Its architectural structure gives any garden a modern, naturalistic edge, while the stunning flowers make beautiful long-lasting cut arrangements. Growing Tips for King Protea

Location: Plant your King Protea in a position with full sun and excellent airflow.
Soil: Free-draining, slightly acidic soil is essential. Raised beds or slopes work well if your soil is heavy. Avoid fertilisers high in phosphorus—native mix is best.
Watering: Water sparingly, especially once the plant matures. Protect young plants from severe frosts.
Pruning: Light pruning encourages bushy growth and more flowers. Remove spent blooms to keep the plant healthy.
