Stunning Colour and Versatile Uses

Hebe Pink Passion truly lives up to its name, offering flushes of pink blooms from spring through autumn. Its compact, bushy foliage provides a luscious backdrop for the profusion of flower spikes, making this hebe ideal for edging, container gardening, or as a showpiece in mixed beds. Enjoy Hebe Pink Passion as a low hedge, or pair it with other flowering shrubs for layered visual impact.

If you’re designing a garden with a palette of pinks and purples, consider pairing Hebe Pink Passion with Hydrangea You Me Passion for seasonal contrast, or explore complementary varieties like Hebe Sunset Boulevard and Hebe Flame for a spectrum of hebe colours.

Easy Care and New Zealand Adaptability

One reason Hebe Pink Passion is such a favourite in Kiwi gardens is its resilience. This hebe tolerates coastal conditions, thrives in full sun or partial shade, and needs little maintenance once established. Water regularly in the first year, and consider light pruning after flowering to maintain its shape and encourage new growth. The evergreen foliage provides structure through winter, keeping your garden lively all year.

Hebe Pink Passion’s modest size (reaching around 60cm high) makes it perfect for urban gardens and smaller spaces. Its natural tolerance for wind and salt means you can confidently plant it in exposed locations, from city balconies to coastal sections.

Planting and Companions

When preparing a spot for Hebe Pink Passion, choose well-drained soil and avoid heavy, waterlogged spots. For instant impact, plant in groups, or mix with other shrubs for a tapestry of colour and texture. Explore more options in our hebe collection, including Hebe First Light for softer lilac flowers, or Hebe Marie Antoinette for dramatic purple tones.
