Features and Growing Tips

Gaura Lillipop Pink is known for its neat, mound-forming habit, reaching only 30-40cm in height. This makes it ideal for edging beds, path borders, or adding pops of pastel colour to patio pots. The dainty, long-lasting flowers appear in succession, attracting bees and butterflies. Gaura is drought tolerant once established and thrives in well-drained soils with full sun exposure.

To encourage maximum flowering, deadhead spent blooms regularly and avoid overwatering. Gaura Lillipop Pink handles light frosts and, with a little mulch, can be surprisingly hardy. Pruning back in early spring promotes bushier growth and a fresh flush of blooms. With minimal fuss, you’ll enjoy vibrant colour all summer long.

Landscape Uses

Whether you’re designing a relaxed cottage garden or need a low-maintenance accent for contemporary spaces, Gaura Lillipop Pink fits beautifully. Its gentle pink hue pairs seamlessly with pure whites and richer pinks. Try combining it with Gaura Sparkle White, Gaura Steffi Blush Pink, or Gaura Steffi Dark Rose for a dazzling Gaura display, or mix with textural foliage like Rodgersia 'Chocolate Wing' for added interest.

For pollinator planting, Gaura Lillipop Pink blends beautifully with vibrant companions like Dianthus Sugar Plum Raspberry and Arctotis 'Canary Yellow' (African Daisy). Its airy habit gently weaves through mixed borders, linking colour themes and attracting beneficial insects.
