Why Choose the Everblooming Climbing Cecile Brunner Rose?

The everblooming climbing Cecile Brunner rose is cherished for its reliable and generous display of sweet, button-like blooms. Unlike many heritage roses, this variety is renowned for its ability to flower repeatedly from spring right through to autumn, rewarding you with bouquets of soft pink blooms for months on end. Its light, tea rose fragrance and soft, pastel petals make it especially popular for cottage gardens, romantic borders, and classic arbours. Not only is it visually stunning, but it’s also well-regarded for its resilience, requiring minimal fuss once established—ideal for both beginner and experienced gardeners.

Growing and Using the Climbing Cecile Brunner Rose

This everblooming climbing rose excels when planted in full sun with well-drained soil. As a vigorous climber, it thrives with support, whether it’s cascading over a pergola or growing up a pillar. The climbing Cecile Brunner rose can reach impressive heights, creating a wall of fragrant blossoms that attract bees and other pollinators to your garden.

It’s also famous as a low-maintenance rose, with good disease resistance and tolerance for both light pruning and New Zealand’s diverse climates. Deadheading spent blooms will encourage even more flowering, and the slender stems are easy to train wherever you need a vertical accent.

Companion Roses and Climbing Plants

If you’re creating a rose-centric display, consider pairing the everblooming climbing Cecile Brunner rose with other reliable performers.
