deciduous azalea varieties
Deciduous azalea varieties are prized by gardeners for their vibrant colours, striking seasonal changes, and delightful fragrances. Unlike evergreen azaleas, deciduous types lose their leaves in autumn, bringing dramatic displays of gold, orange, and crimson to New Zealand gardens before revealing beautiful flowers in late spring to early summer. Their bold floral trusses and captivating scents make them outstanding feature shrubs, ideal for adding bursts of colour to mixed borders, woodland gardens, or even as standalone specimens.
