Why Choose Daphne Eternal Fragrance?

Daphne Eternal Fragrance is renowned for its continuous display of soft pink buds that open to pure white star-shaped flowers. Unlike many other Daphnes that flower only in winter or early spring, this variety delivers delightful fragrance from spring right through to autumn. Its compact habits (around 60cm high and wide) make it ideal for small gardens, patio pots, or as a scented border near paths where you can enjoy its fragrance up close.

How to Grow Daphne Eternal Fragrance

For best results, plant your Daphne Eternal Fragrance in dappled shade or morning sun, in rich, free-draining soil. Avoid deeply disturbing the roots during transplanting, as Daphnes like to be left undisturbed. Consistent moisture is preferred—mulch well to keep roots cool and damp, but do not allow the soil to remain waterlogged. A slow-release balanced fertiliser in spring will help support healthy growth and prolific blooms.

If you’re a fan of fragrant daphnes, you might also like to explore other varieties such as Daphne Perfume Princess (Perfume Princess Daphne), which is famed for its exceptionally long flowering period and larger flowers, or Daphne Perfume Princess White, known for its crisp white blooms.
