Planting and Caring for Climbing Roses in Christchurch

To get the most from climbing roses in Christchurch, start by choosing a sunny spot with well-draining soil. Plant your rose with enough space for air circulation, and provide a sturdy structure for the stems to climb. Regular feeding with a balanced rose fertiliser, combined with deep watering, encourages healthy growth and abundant flowering. Prune annually to maintain shape and remove older wood, and tie stems gently to supports as they grow.
