Why Choose Clematis for Your Garden?

Clematis are favoured by gardeners all over New Zealand for their versatility and stunning display of flowers throughout the year. These climbers can be trained over fences, pergolas, or arches, and many varieties can thrive in containers. The choice is as wide as your imagination—whether you love soft pinks, deep purples, or creamy whites, there’s a clematis to suit every style.

Our clematis online nursery brings together a curated collection of varieties that perform beautifully in New Zealand’s climate. We source promising garden performers, such as Clematis integrifolia, a non-climbing, bushy perennial with lush blue blooms perfect for borders or mixed plantings.

Explore Our Popular Varieties

Browse our selection to find classic climbers and unique species. For instance, Clematis jackmanii Superba is renowned for its striking purple flowers and vigorous growth—ideal for covering walls and creating vertical interest in your landscape.

If you crave soft, creamy hues, the enchanting Clematis Guernsey Cream dazzles with large pale flowers and a long blooming season, perfect for brightening shaded corners. Alternatively, Clematis 'Honora' provides a rich, velvety purple to the garden, making a stunning statement on trellises or obelisks.

For those who enjoy a touch of fragrance and early-season blooms, Clematis montana 'Elizabeth' graces the garden in late spring with soft pink blossoms and a delightful scent—a favourite for covering fences and creating natural privacy screens.
