Why Choose a Cherry Blossom Tree Nursery?

Selecting a cherry blossom tree nursery with extensive expertise makes all the difference. Our nursery stands apart by offering not only trusted growing advice and support, but also a diverse range of cherry trees tailored to New Zealand’s climate. With decades of experience propagating flowering and fruiting cherries, we support gardeners, landscapers, and homeowners alike in creating unforgettable spring displays. From the classic pink-flowered Japanese varieties to striking hybrids, flowering cherry trees are a favourite for their season-spanning beauty: fresh foliage follows after the blooms, and attractive structure provides winter interest.

Our Range of Cherry Blossom Trees

Explore a wide selection of flowering cherries—each chosen for their exceptional bloom, resilience, and form. Among our most popular selections, you’ll find the ever-stunning Prunus Accolade, known for its semi-double pink blossoms and graceful arching branches. This ornamental cherry is perfect for avenue plantings, focal points, or pairing with spring-flowering bulbs for a layered effect. We propagate our cherries on robust rootstock for reliable growth and disease resistance, ensuring every specimen thrives beautifully for years to come.

Pairing Flowering and Fruiting Cherries

One of the joys of a cherry blossom tree nursery is discovering both ornamental and fruiting cherries, allowing gardeners to combine gorgeous flowers with the promise of a summer harvest. While flowering cherries like Prunus Accolade are grown for their showy spring blooms, our fruiting cherry range includes standout cultivars such as Cherry Rainier, renowned for its sweet yellow fruit and reliable cropping. Cherry Dawson produces plump, juicy red cherries ideal for fresh eating or baking, while Cherry Modesto delivers robust flavour and excellent disease resistance. For those seeking something unique, Cherry Griotella Frumi offers tart fruit perfect for preserves and traditional recipes.
