Growing Tips and Planting Advice

Catmint is incredibly forgiving and well-suited to gardeners of all experience levels. Plant your catmint in free-draining soil and a sunny spot for the most abundant blooms. Trim back after flowering to encourage a second flush and maintain the plant’s tidy appearance. Resistant to both deer and rabbits, catmint can be used where other perennials may struggle.

If you’re interested in exploring more aromatic, bee-friendly options, consider Australian mint bushes like Prostanthera Eddington Blue (Mint Bush Plant) as a companion for your catmint.
