Hatiora salicornioides, commonly known as the Mistletoe Cactus or the Dancing Bones plant, is a succulent grown for its amazing foliage. It produces delicate green stems that are heavily branched which results in a somewhat tangled appearance. Small, yellow flowers are often produced at the stem tips during spring. It typically grows with a ball shape to 30 cm tall and the same wide. Hatiora salicornioides is commonly grown indoors as a potted plant but can be planted outdoors around outdoor living areas such as pools, or used anywhere the architectural properties this plant affords can be appreciated.
Rhipsalis paradoxa (Mistletoe Cactus)
Commonly known as the Mistletoe Cactus, this is a succulent grown for its slender and trailing stems. Masses of the dark green stems hang from the plant like braids of thick hair.
