Why Buy a Cherry Tree for Your Home Garden

Buying a cherry tree is an investment in both beauty and bounty. Cherry trees offer gorgeous seasonal displays, providing excellent shade through the warmer months and a flush of beautiful flowers in spring. Once established, you’ll enjoy generous harvests each season. Many cherries are also self-fertile, meaning you only need one tree to produce fruit, while others benefit from compatible pollinators for even heavier yields.

Our Cherry Tree Selection

We offer a range of cherry trees carefully chosen for New Zealand conditions. Popular choices include:

Growing Tips for Your Cherry Tree

When you buy a cherry tree and bring it home, choose a spot with full sun and well-drained soil. Cherries thrive with at least six hours of sunlight per day and appreciate shelter from strong winds. Regular watering during dry periods and light mulching will help your young tree establish. With a little care, most cherry trees are resilient and low-maintenance, rewarding you with abundant spring flowers and summer fruit for years to come.
