Tips for Planting Bulk Roses

When you buy bulk rose plants, preparation is key. Always plant in well-drained soil, enriched with organic matter. Space your roses according to their mature spread, allowing for air circulation and ease of maintenance. Morning sun is ideal, as it encourages dry foliage and reduces disease risk. Mulching helps retain soil moisture and keeps roots cool during warmer months.

If you’re looking to complement your roses, consider mixing in long-flowering perennials such as Portulaca Pazzaz Yellow (Yellow Portulaca) or Hemerocallis Rose Cherub (Rose Daylily) for an extended show of colour. Moss roses like Portulaca Pazzaz Sunset (Moss Rose Plant) are another beautiful addition to mass plantings, bringing a carpet of bright blooms to sunny beds.
