How to Grow Blueberry Plants in NZ

Blueberries are surprisingly easy to grow when you understand their preferences. They thrive in acidic, free-draining soil, with full sun or partial shade. If your soil isn’t naturally acidic, simply mix in some peat moss or pine bark. Blueberries love consistent moisture, especially as fruit forms, but they hate wet feet, so good drainage is essential.
