Roses are just the beginning. Consider pairing them with low-growing, sun-loving companions to create vibrant, pollinator-friendly borders. Hemerocallis Rose Cherub (Rose Daylily) delivers ruffled pink blooms throughout summer and makes a fantastic accent near taller roses. If you love the idea of cascading colour, Portulaca Pazzaz Sunset (Moss Rose Plant) provides sizzling hues and thrives in dry, sun-drenched gardens—ideal for trouble spots where traditional rose plants may struggle.

For those interested in adding lush foliage indoors or out, the Stromanthe Triostar (Stromanthe Plant) brings striking variegation and a touch of the tropics. Its pink-streaked leaves provide year-round interest alongside your rose display, especially in shaded spots where roses won’t flourish.
