Metrosideros excelsa ‘Aurea’, commonly known as the Yellow Pohutukawa, is a rare and striking New Zealand native tree that features soft yellow flowers instead of the typical red. Growing 6–10 metres tall with a broad, spreading canopy, it offers a unique alternative for feature planting, coastal landscapes, or native gardens.
