Orthrosanthus multiflorus is an herbaceous perennial grown for its delicate and pretty flowers. It grows as a clump of green, strap like foliage which becomes adorned with blue-purple flowers through spring and summer as it grows to 75 cm tall and 60 cm wide. Orthrosanthus multiflorus is commonly included in rock and cottage gardens, used in border and mixed plantings, maintained in a container, or mass planted on a bank or the like for a wondrous display.

Euphorbia martinii, commonly known as Wood Spurge, is an herbaceous perennial grown for its showy flowers and colourful foliage. Large clusters of green flowers with a purple eye are borne in spring. They are produced above the rosettes of narrow, dark grey-green leaves which are held on sprawling stems as it grows to about 50 cm tall and the same wide.
