Clianthus puniceus Alba, commonly known as White Kakabeak, is a NZ native shrub that produces a flush of stunning, beak like flowers in summer. The showy, white flowers are produced in abundance and are contrasted wonderfully with mid-green foliage as it grows to 3 m tall and 1.5 m wide. Clianthus Alba is commonly included in a mixed planting, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, grown to soften a bland wall, planted around outdoor living areas, maintained in a container, or mass planted for an impressive display.
Agapanthus Gayles Lilac features showy lilac-blue flowers from spring through summer. Flowers form loose clusters on sturdy stems above tidy green strap-like foliage. It grows to about 40 cm tall and wide. Suitable for low maintenance, dry sites, poor soils, borders, mixed plantings, mass planting, cottage gardens, or containers.
