Canna Tropicanna features lush foliage coupled with impressive flowers. The leaves emerge a bright, burgundy colour and mature to become variegated with red, pink, yellow, and green stripes. Stems rise above the foliage in summer carrying large and showy, bright orange flowers. This herbaceous perennial will grow to about 1.2 m tall and 70 cm wide. Canna Tropicanna is commonly included in tropical gardens, grown indoors as a potted plant, planted alongside a water feature or around outdoor living areas, or simply included in a mixed planting.
