Corynocarpus laevigatus, commonly known as Karaka, is a handsome, NZ native tree that features large and glossy, green leaves. The lush foliage is adorned with cream-green flowers in spring, which result in fragrant and fleshy, orange fruit in summer as it grows to 8 m tall and 5 m wide. Corynocarpus laevigatus is commonly included in coastal gardens, where it is planted as a screen or informal hedge or grown as a lovely specimen. NB: Any plantings must consider the risk to children and animals.

Cedrela sinensis Flamingo (Toon Tree)
Cedrela sinensis Flamingo is a highly colourful, deciduous tree featuring bright, salmon-pink foliage in spring which ages to cream-yellow, and then green in summer. It grows with a tight growth habit to about 6 m tall and with a spread of just 2 m. Cedrela Flamingo is commonly included in mixed plantings, grown as a specimen, or used as a showy backdrop to smaller shrubs.
