Prunus Tai Haku is a variety of Flowering Cherry that features masses of large and showy, white blossoms. The flowers are held in pendulous clusters through spring and borne just as the leaves start to emerge. The leaves emerge a copper colour, age to mid-dark green, then develop yellow and orange tones in autumn before falling. It grows with a broad and spreading habit to about 6 m tall and 8 m wide. Prunus Tai Haku is stunning when in flower and is commonly used in avenue plantings, grown as a specimen, or added to a mixed planting.
