Asplenium bulbiferum, commonly known as the Hen and Chicken Fern, is a NZ native fern featuring feathery, deep green fronds. The common name arises from the tiny plantlets which are borne along mature fronds and can develop into separate plants. This stunning plant grows to about 30 cm tall and the same wide. Asplenium bulbiferum is most frequently grown indoors as a potted plant but works equally well outdoors where it is planted beneath shrubs and trees or planted around living areas.

Dicksonia squarrosa, commonly known as NZ Wheki or Rough Tree Fern, is a NZ native tree fern that features a slender trunk and lovely fronds. They are mid-green and form a small umbrella above the trunk as it reaches 6 m tall and 4 m wide.
