Dracaena draco, commonly known as the Canary Islands Dragon Tree, this is a small tree featuring long, sword like leaves. The dark green-grey leaves are borne as a cluster atop a thick and fleshy trunk as it grows to 5 m tall and 3 m wide. Dracaena draco is a hardy plant that will tolerate drought, coastal environments, and moderate frost once established. It is commonly grown as a specimen, maintained in a large planter, added to a mixed planting where space affords, or included in Mediterranean themed gardens.

Fraxinus griffithii, commonly known as the Evergreen Ash tree, is an attractive, small tree. It features glossy green leaves that have a silvery underside. The foliage is complemented with clusters of white flowers in spring which literally coat the tree. This evergreen typically grows with a rounded and somewhat dense crown to about 7 m tall and 4 m wide. Fraxinus griffithii is commonly used as a specimen in parks or large gardens and for avenue planting.
