The stunning blooms on this tropical Hibiscus are borne constantly through summer and autumn off upright, slender branches which host glossy, mid-green leaves as it grows to 2 m tall and the same wide. Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is commonly grown as a showy specimen, used as an informal hedge, planted for screening, included in a mixed planting, added to a tropical garden, or planted around outdoor living areas.
