Rattail Crassula

Crassula lycopodioides

Crassula lycopodioides, commonly known as the Rattail Crassula or Watch Chain Crassula, is a succulent grown for its interesting foliage. It produces narrow and erect stems that host light green leaves in a stacked manner. Small, yellow-green flowers adorn the plant in summer as it grows to 30 cm tall and the same wide. Crassula lycopodioides is commonly grown as an indoor plant, added to rock gardens, planted around pools and other outdoor living areas, or maintained in a container. It is well suited to using as an office plant due to its hardy nature.

Senecio jacobsenii, commonly known as the Trailing Jade Plant, is a succulent grown for its spreading foliage. It carries fleshy, green leaves, and may develop purple tones during hot periods. This South African native will typically grow to 10 cm tall and 20 cm wide. Senecio jacobsenii is often used as a houseplant but can equally be grown outdoors provided it is protected from frost. It is well suited to rock gardens, Mediterranean themed gardens, pool areas, or being maintained in a container.
