It grows to 4 m tall and 1.5 m wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Thuja Pyramidalis is commonly included in a mixed planting, used as a backdrop for smaller plants, grown for shelter or screening, used for hedging, or planted to line an entranceway or avenue. Commonly known as the Norfolk Pine, this is a large, evergreen tree that grows with a distinctive, pyramidal shape. The fresh green leaves are narrow, sharply pointed, and held densely. It grows with an upright and somewhat broad habit to about 25 m tall and 10 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site.
