
Vinca minor Illumination is a variety of the commonly known, Periwinkle, and is a popular, evergreen perennial often used as a ground cover. It features variegated leaves that are golden-yellow and edged with green. Purple-blue flowers adorn the plant through spring as it grows to about 15 cm tall and 1 m wide. Vinca minor Illumination is commonly used where a hardy ground cover is required, and is often included in borders. It is also well suited to being maintained in a container or hanging basket and allowed to trail over the sides.

Iochroma cyaneum is a bushy, evergreen shrub grown for its colourful flowers and lush foliage. It bears showy clusters of bright purple, tubular flowers with flared tips from summer through autumn.
