Tulbaghia Dark Star, commonly known as the Society Garlic plant, is grown for its showy and fragrant flowers. Clusters of lilac-pink flowers are borne from summer until autumn on stems that rise above the foliage. These are held above the narrow, dark green, strap like foliage which releases a garlic odour when bruised. This herbaceous perennial grows as a clump to about 40 cm tall and 50 cm wide. The Society Garlic plant is commonly used in cottage gardens, included in borders and herb gardens, maintained in a container, or mass planted for an impressive show.
Pelargonium Dark Delight Hot Pink is a variety of Geranium grown for its showy clusters of hot-pink flowers. The colourful blooms are borne through spring and summer, and are complemented with lush, dark-green foliage as it grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide. Pelargonium Dark Delight Hot Pink is ideal for adding to mixed and border plantings, mass planting as a groundcover, maintaining in a container, including in tropical or cottage gardens, or for planting around outdoor living areas such as pools and the like.
