Pieris japonica Dorothy Wyckoff is an attractive shrub grown for both its foliage and flowers. This compact and rounded shrub produces red-purple flower buds that open into soft-pink flowers which age to become white. The flowers are mildly fragrant and literally transform the plant from winter through spring. It typically grows to 1 m tall and the same wide. Pieris japonica Dorothy Wyckoff makes for a superb specimen in a small garden and is often included in a mixed planting.
