Myosotidium hortensia, commonly known as the Chatham Island Forget-Me-Not, is a distinctive and recognisable NZ native. The plants have large, glossy, bright green leaves that can reach up to 60 cm in length. The foliage is complemented with sprays of stunning, bright blue flowers in late spring as it grows to 60 cm tall and 50 cm wide. Myosotidium hortensia is often mass-planted in borders, maintained in containers, included in cottage and tropical gardens, or planted around outdoor living areas, such as pools and the like.
Ctenanthe Grey Star is a colourful foliage plant often grown as a houseplant. It features rounded leaves that are variegated with silver and dark green in a symmetrical pattern and typically grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide. Ctenanthe Grey Star is well suited to growing as a potted plant in the home or office environment.
