Juniperus chinensis Kaizuka, commonly known as the Hollywood Juniper tree or Torulosa Juniper, is an upright conifer with an oriental style. It bares scale-like, vivid-green leaves held on twisted and irregularly shaped branches and typically grows to 8 m tall and 2 m wide. Juniperus chinensis Kaizuka is commonly grown as a sculptural specimen, added to a mixed planting, or combined with other low growing conifers. It looks impressive when planted against a bland wall and is often cloud pruned.
