Choisya ternata, commonly known as Mexican Orange Blossom, features lush and glossy, dark green leaves. The foliage is adorned with star-shaped, pure white flowers from spring through summer which are also gently scented. It grows with a rounded shape to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary. Choisya ternata is a popular and low maintenance plant in NZ gardens and is commonly included in mixed plantings and borders, planted around outdoor living areas, grown as an informal hedge, or used to brighten up a bland area.
