Myrsine salicina, commonly known as Toro, is a NZ native tree that grows to about 8 m tall and 3 m wide. Clusters of small, cream-pink flowers are produced in spring and are followed by red-orange berries. Myrsine salicina makes for a great specimen and also suits being used for screening, adding to native plantings, or for attracting birds into the garden.
