It has attractive fern-like leaves and masses of yellow flowers in spring as it grows to 10 m tall and 4 m wide. Aechmea fasciata (Urn Plant)
Aechmea fasciata is a colourful Bromeliad that features thick and leathery leaves that are striped with silver and dark green. They are borne as a crown and result in plant that typically grows to 40 cm tall and the same wide. It produces a large and showy flower spike made up of bright pink flowers in autumn.
